and I definitely know the feeling, it happens to me very often.
I think that sometimes it takes a while to find the perfect phrase and until you do the entire work will never seem quite right.
Sometimes I find that it helps if I take apart the entire piece and reword it (keeping the same ideas but expressing them differently)
I've also heard that it can help to walk away from the piece for a few days and rest your mind. Then, looking at it again new ideas may come.
